The LeBlanc Family

The LeBlanc Family is an Acadian musical family that has been around for 6 generations. Today, Robin LeBlanc, accompanied by his wife and three daughters, continues this tradition with the release of a first album in 2020 Trois jolies demoiselles.

The three LeBlanc sisters became tied to music at a very young age dancing the jig to the sound of their father's violin who was himself taking up the dance tunes played by his great-grandfather. Charlotte plays the violin; Rosalie accompanies her on piano and concertina and Mélodie on flute. Their mother harmonizes her voice with theirs, thus interpreting several traditional songs of Pré d'en haut. To the rhythm of their music from the Acadian intangible heritage ranging, among others, from the Acadian Peninsula to the Gaspe Peninsula, through Chéticamp to Memramcook. The LeBlanc Family will make you dance and make you live a traditional musical evening in Acadia!
